Brief Description
Amogy is an innovative cleantech startup on a mission to unlock ammonia's potential as a clean energy source. Driven by a vision of a more sustainable future, we've developed carbon-free energy solutions that leverage ammonia as an alternative fuel to decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors, including maritime shipping and stationary power generation. Join our dynamic team as we accelerate the commercialization of our technology and revolutionize the future of energy.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing, testing and validating electrical instrumentation and control solutions for chemical process equipment and facilities.
This individual should be skilled and experienced in performing detailed electrical calculation and design for reactor’s electrical power distribution system, cable installations, conduit installations, cable tray installations, and grounding systems in accordance with industry standards and the latest versions of manufacturer software and sizing guidelines. The individual should have direct industrial experience in developing electrical wiring diagrams for sensors (pressure transducers, RTD sensors, flow meters, liquid level switches, etc.), and actuators (air compressor, VFDs, solenoid valves, proportional valves, mass flow controller, etc.) and developing Instrumentation deliverables such as
Instrument Indexes,
Datasheets,
Cable Schedules,
Panel Layout & Wiring Drawings,
Loop Drawings,
Location Plans,
etc.
Reporting to the Manager, Electrical Engineering and Control Software, this individual will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to design, test and troubleshoot electrical power distribution system, instrumentation and control systems for novel reactors and separation technologies for Amogy’s next-generation power solutions.
