Job Title: Business Development AnalystInfinium Operations, LLC (“Infinium”) is working to mitigate the catastrophic effects of climate change. It will produce Electrofuels™, an ultra-low carbon fuel alternative to existing liquid jet and diesel fuels that can be used in planes, ships, and truck fleets without costly infrastructure changes.Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the business development team members in creation of financial models, budgets, SOW documentation, project development, pitch materials, and identification of new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector to support our company's growth objectives.
Specific Responsibilities Include
- Conduct market research and analysis, track valuation for clean fuels (Bio, RD, eFuels, H2).
- Build and manage models in Excel including project models, power strategy analysis, new concept models.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, feasibility studies for emerging development locations.
- Manage GIS mapping for business development analysis.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to develop strategies for business growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Global project tracking for clean fuels (Bio, RD, eFuels, H2) and other industry news.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and other stakeholders on business development initiatives and progress.
- Create and maintain sales database, price tracking, supply/demand tracking for key delivery locations.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to stay abreast of changes that may impact our company's business development plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, research, business development or strategy roles in the commodities or energy sector; power experience a plus.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills, expert in Excel
- Strong data analytics and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering successful business development initiatives.
- Ability to digest complex regulations and financial markets into practical business decisions.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively.
- Flexible mindset with willingness to lean into new projects and jobs as needed.
- Programming experience preferred but not required.
