Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field
- 10-20+ years of reservoir engineering experience in oil and gas, geothermal, mining, or unique experiential fit to role
- Strong technical background in reservoir engineering including phase behavior, material balance, volumetrics, transient analysis, and multi-phase fluid flow concepts
- Creative out of the box problem solver with exploration experience working in integrated teams collaborating with geoscientists and engineers
- Operations domestically and internationally including DST and production test evaluation
- Able to create and work with tank and geo-cellular models
- Experience with a wide variety of reservoirs including clastics, carbonates and fractured reservoirs will be a critical consideration
- Experience with large data analytics and design of experiments
- Experience working with Competent Persons Reports and Reserves Reports
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all reservoir engineering workflows at Koloma
- Design and implement reservoir models to predict reservoir performance in various and sometimes novel subsurface environments
- Perform theoretical studies on hydrogen recovery, migration, fault seal, column prediction
- Modeling and identifying additional testing and analysis from PVT & SCAL studies
- Assess subsurface characterization and value. This includes estimating ultimate hydrogen recovery ranges and developing single well and full field recovery models with production forecasting pre and post drill
- Develop internal process to create SPE and SEC equivalent contingent and prospective hydrogen resources and reserves
