We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled customer success project engineer to provide technical expertise in concrete and cement formulations and applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial and central role in the organization and coordinate with different departments to ensure we deliver the perfect product every time. The Customer Success Project Engineer will drive projects with our potential customers and strategic partners to provide the best performance. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, results-driven, customer-facing, and the ability to accurately translate customer requirements into product specifications for our product development team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on project management skills.
- 3-5 years of experience in the building and construction industry or concrete and cement applications
- Experience with publishing software (InDesign)
- Experience in product development and material certification processes or willingness to learn it
- Have strong prioritization skills and ability to manage complex projects
- Ability to conduct detailed data analyses, interpret results and ensure data visualization. Experience with data analysis software and relevant tools such as Power Automate or similar data analysis tools
- Prior experience working in a customer-facing position
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and, ideally, German and French
Role Overview:
In this role, The Customer Success Project Engineer will be a member of the Product Team. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Craft Persuasive Customer Presentations: Work closely with the product team to develop technical presentations. These should clearly outline our products' advantages and performance, ensuring they resonate with our customers' needs.
- Enhance Customer Follow-Ups for Business Growth: Actively follow up on technical customer inquiries, efficiently analyze and give feedback. This will aid our business development efforts by ensuring we're responsive and attuned to our customer's evolving needs. Prepare accurate and detailed technical data and material to be sent to respond to these requests, facilitating smoother customer interactions.
- Lead Product Development Projects Matching Customer Needs: Managing projects aiming to develop new products. Collaborate with our research and development team and external partners to ensure timely and innovative outcomes. Ensure that our proposed products align with customer requirements and Paebbl's capabilities. This alignment is crucial for delivering solutions that satisfy and exceed expectations.
- Leverage AI for Efficient Product Development: Utilize AI tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to expedite and enhance the development of products. Focus on adapting these tools to meet customer specifications and support the development process effectively.
- Risk Management and Quality Assurance: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize customer project delays or cost overruns. Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Clear Client Communication: Serve as clients' primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any client concerns or inquiries. Prepare and provide documents containing details of essential technical product specifications to customers and our business development team.
- Facilitate New Solution Development: When new solutions are necessary, coordinate with the product team to provide the best solution for Paebbl and the customer. Your role will be to bridge gaps and spearhead the creation of innovative offerings.
- Monitor and Communicate Project Progress: Monitor the progress of assigned projects closely. Proactively communicate any results, deviations from the plan, or unexpected challenges. Take responsibility for finding and implementing resolutions.
- Update Customers Proactively: Regularly update customers on the status of their orders. Keeping them informed builds trust and reinforces our commitment to transparency and excellent service.
- Continuous Improvement: Build an internal database on projects and collaborations and implement best practices to enhance project delivery effectiveness and pipeline overview metrics.
