About Redwood Materials
Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2019, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.
Power Systems Modeling Engineer, Energy Storage

As the first Power Systems Modeling Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and validating dynamic behavioral models of various power system components. This includes development and maintenance of official dynamic models for grid interconnection studies at both the converter and plant level. You will also be responsible for integration of controls and software systems and validating their behaviors.
Redwood Energy has already deployed the largest solar + storage microgrid in North America, but this is only the first step. If you’re excited about designing the GW-scale, inverter-based resource grid of the future we want to hear from you!
