Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.\n
As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.
We are seeking a talented and experienced BMS Software Test System Automation and Simulation Engineer to join our automotive team. • Integrate test automation into the build and deployment processes, fostering continuous integration and continuous testing (CI/CT) practices for efficient and effective testing.
• Define comprehensive test guidelines that provide a clear understanding of the test platform's functionality. Identify the optimal tools for script coding, test plan generation, maintenance, and report generation.
• Consider integrating JAMA or other suitable tools to facilitate test run updates and reporting. Ensure effective communication, documentation, and traceability of test results.
- Collaboration and Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in test automation and SIL testing. Apply this knowledge to improve testing practices and enhance automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with the test team to define test data, test models, and test environments required for automated testing. Ensure the availability of appropriate resources for comprehensive testing.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to software engineers and test engineers regarding the integration process and best practices. Support the team and other stakeholders in leveraging the test platform effectively.
• Document the test platform architecture, integration processes, and guidelines for knowledge sharing and maintainability. Foster collaboration and ensure the scalability of the testing infrastructure. \n
