Are you ready to join Rivian’s Electrical Hardware team in their Special Projects division?
- \nTake direction from Verification lead to understand the overall Device Under Test (DUT) functional specs, Verification Environment including Drivers, Checkers, Monitors. \n \n
- \nDevelop Test Plans and Write Tests, File Bugs and Debug root cause. \n \n
- Automation scripts & Metrics Generation including dashboards and KPIs. \n
- Must be enrolled in a Masters, or PhD in Computer Science with a focus in Machine Learning and Computer Vision at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign \n
- Coursework in: Logic design, Computer architecture, Data structures & algorithms, required. \n
- At least two completed undergrad courses in Circuit theory, CMOS VLSI design, required. \n
- Proficiency in Python, Shell Scripting, TCL/TK, required. \n
- Must be a located in Champaign, IL \n
- Must be available for 15-20 hours per week in the Fall and Spring and 40 hours in the summer. \n
- This project will require weekly task status update and monthly project updates. \n
- \nThis internship will likely continue beyond Spring 2024. \n \n

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law.\n
Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
