    \n

As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

    Role Summary

In this role you will support the utilities team in all things related to electrical infrastructure and power distribution. This includes input on the full lifecycle of equipment from project conception to construction to long-term reliability analysis. You will be responsible for the continual operation and improvement of equipment such as switchgear, bus duct, motors, drives, lighting, and more.  This role will work in tandem with the other engineers for new construction projects and existing infrastructure support. This role reports directly to the Manager of the Facility (Utility) Maintenance department.

    Responsibilities

      \n
    • Communicate across disciplines and management teams, while maintaining professional presence in representing the department
    • \n
    • Complete electrical design deliverables for brownfield projects including single line drawings, wiring diagrams, relay settings, arc flash studies, load calculations, and equipment selection
    • \n
    • Prepare bid sheets, equipment specifications, obtain proposals, and contracts for construction
    • \n
    • Manage and administrate facility electrical infrastructure project budgets
    • \n
    • Frequently interact with electricians and maintenance technicians to clarify scope and respond to Requests For Information
    • \n
    • Serve as the End User representative in design reviews of major modifications to the facility electrical system
    • \n
    • Develop commissioning, acceptance testing, and functional checkout documentation to validate properly installation of electrical components
    • \n
    • Research new equipment, tools, and software that can be leveraged to improve equipment reliability and ease of maintenance
    • \n
    • Support in planning and coordinating outages related to infrastructure improvements and equipment maintenance activities
    • \n
    • Evaluate operational systems to improve system efficiencies in alignment with company sustainability goals
    • \n
    • Identify, quantify, and propose solutions for potential power quality issues
    • \n
    • Serve as a technical resource for NFPA 70E and Electrical Safe Work Practice questions
    • \n
    • Provide electrical guidance for plant maintenance technicians through the development of preventive maintenance plans and electrical operating procedures
    • \n
    • Perform root cause investigations on electrical failures and present findings
    • \n
    • Support design, construction, operations, and manufacturing teams as needed
    • \n
    • Perform other duties as needed
    • \n

    Qualifications

      \n
    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical engineering with 0-3 years’ experience
    • \n
    • Plant maintenance and/or project management experience preferred
    • \n
    • Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing sites preferred
    • \n

This includes input on the full lifecycle of equipment from project conception to construction to long-term reliability analysis. You will be responsible for the continual operation and improvement of equipment such as switchgear, bus duct, motors, drives, lighting, and more.  This role will work in tandem with the other engineers for new construction projects and existing infrastructure support. This role reports directly to the Manager of the Facility (Utility) Maintenance department.

    Responsibilities

    • Complete electrical design deliverables for brownfield projects including single line drawings, wiring diagrams, relay settings, arc flash studies, load calculations, and equipment selection
    • Prepare bid sheets, equipment specifications, obtain proposals, and contracts for construction
    • Manage and administrate facility electrical infrastructure project budgets
    • Frequently interact with electricians and maintenance technicians to clarify scope and respond to Requests For Information
    • Serve as the End User representative in design reviews of major modifications to the facility electrical system
    • Develop commissioning, acceptance testing, and functional checkout documentation to validate properly installation of electrical components
    • Research new equipment, tools, and software that can be leveraged to improve equipment reliability and ease of maintenance
    • Support in planning and coordinating outages related to infrastructure improvements and equipment maintenance activities
    • Evaluate operational systems to improve system efficiencies in alignment with company sustainability goals
    • Identify, quantify, and propose solutions for potential power quality issues
    • Serve as a technical resource for NFPA 70E and Electrical Safe Work Practice questions
    • Provide electrical guidance for plant maintenance technicians through the development of preventive maintenance plans and electrical operating procedures
    • Perform root cause investigations on electrical failures and present findings
    • Support design, construction, operations, and manufacturing teams as needed
    • Perform other duties as needed

    Qualifications
