Role Summary
In this position, you will be leading the development and management of a standard operating model for the Rivian Direct Material Team. You will work directly with Director and Senior manager to drive maturation of supply chain through development of strategies, reporting, and key metrics. You will also be responsible for developing reporting cadences, including weekly status reporting, escalations and prioritization. The position will be a flex work schedule, based in Irvine California and will report directly to the Program Lead - Supply Chain.
Responsibilities
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

- Support the development of comprehensive category strategies across the entire supply base \n
- Monitor and report on KPI performance to target including week over week cost savings performance, mitigation strategies, and escalations \n
- Manage the development of advanced sourcing tools including spend analytics, supplier categorization, raw material forecasting and more \n
- Work collaboratively with Group and Purchasing managers to support new product sourcing \n
- Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the position. \n
Qualifications
- \n
- BA / BS degree required - preferably in Business/Supply Chain, Engineering, or Logistics \n
- 3+ years relevant experience in Category Management/Strategic Sourcing \n
- 2+ years relevant experience in Project Management \n
- Experience with data analytics and dashboard development \n
- Experience leading teams and cost savings programs preferred \n
