Role Summary
The NPI Process Lead position will report directly to the Manager, NPI Process. They will work alongside NPI functional teams, Operations Teams/Business Partners to drive process and tool improvements in all areas of NPI work. This includes mapping current and future states, developing user requirements, process workstreams and user/training documentation for the organization. As a leader of improvements, this individual will employ various methods to drive collaboration amongst many different teams with the shared goal of building quality products with speed and cost in mind. Processes should also align to deliver Rivian objectives across multiple production sites and growing product offerings.
Responsibilities

Work with an array of NPI Teams: Change Mgt, NPI Material Planning, Warehousing, Material Handling, Material Master, Concessions & Obsolescence Mgt. Develop best practices and processes to improve engineering change planning and implementation and new model launch delivery.
\nGather detailed business and systems requirements with key stakeholders and business partners that translate into collaborative and effective process and tool development.
\nPrepare timelines for deliverables and assign to appropriate owners.
\nCreate meeting cadences to drive effective and timely delivery of projects.
\nSupply requirements for IT developers to implement enhancements to systems.
\nDrive review and testing of system updates as needed.
\nCommunicate business process guidelines and lead training for new or enhanced functionality across skill teams.
\nWork with tight deadlines and be able to travel to Rivian sites as required.
\nMultitask between many areas of the business and different operational goals/processes simultaneously.
\nLeverage industry/functional standards were required and collaborate with SME’s who bring knowledge to the solutions under development.
\nPrepare leadership presentation material and present to peers as well as leadership.
\nManage roadblocks and escalate issues that impact delivery.

Qualifications

- \nBachelors Degree in Supply Chain or similar field or equivalent experience required \n \n
Engineering Change, Bill of Material, & New Model Implementation experience
\nAbility to judge needs of organization over needs of individual teams.
\nStrong leadership capability, including ability to work with team members at all levels.
\nAbility to think through issues logically, using first principles approach to problem solving.
\nAbility to adjust and evaluate priorities as urgent issues arise.
\nStrong written and verbal communication skills
\nUnderstanding of enterprise databases, a plus: Enovia, MES, SAP
\nWorking knowledge of Atlassian software – Jira & Confluence
\nWorking knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
\nProject Mgt Experience preferred.
\nAutomotive experience preferred
\nPMP Certification preferred
