Role Summary
In this role, you will qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to answer difficult and complex questions about Rivian's current and future products, as well as markets and customers.
Responsibilities
- \n
- \nEngage with leaders across Rivian to deeply understand their business needs. Independently design and lead primary research projects (or work with 3rd party vendors), utilizing cross functional teams, with the highest levels of integrity. Projects may be focused on US, Europe, or China. Select the most appropriate research methodology for a given project. \n \n
- \nAnalyze the results of research projects to turn insights into action. Lead research activations internally. \n \n
- \nUtilize industry data to develop forecasts for product variant/option mix and volume. \n \n
- \nBased on corporate strategic direction, use data to partner with engineering to establish product unique selling points and attributes \n \n
- \nPerform socio-economic forecasting to identify market trends in support of roadmap creation for next generation vehicles, platforms, and powertrains. \n \n
- \nLead efforts to perform comprehensive market analytics to define segmentation and identify priority customer profiles for both commercial and consumer vehicle programs \n \n
Qualifications
- \n
- Master’s Degree in Market Research, Data Science, Product Management, Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Psychology, or similar \n
- \nStrong interest in and knowledge of Rivian, Electric Vehicles, and passion for the automotive industry \n \n
- \nExperienced in designing and leading customer centric quantitative and qualitative research \n \n
- \nEnjoys solving problems and strives in a high speed and high energy environment \n \n
- \nStrategic thinking with high level of resiliency and patience \n \n
- \nSelf-motivated and committed to deliver high quality work on time \n \n
- \nFluency in a European and/or Asian language is a plus \n \n
Pay Disclosure
- \n
- Salary Range for Irvine Based Applicants: $189,000 - 217,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law) \n
