Role Summary
The Analyst, Outbound Logistics Europe, is responsible for the daily management of shipping lines, carriers and Rivian Service Centers. You will interact with both downstream and upstream partners daily to ensure their needs are met. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are necessary. The opening is located at Belgrad and reports directly to the Manager of Outbound Logistics Operations Europe. The ideal candidate is tenacious in execution and follow-up with a customer service mindset. Perseverance will be needed to overcome operational challenges and to set a course for cost optimization. A collaborative spirit is essential to partner with stakeholders, and to foster teamwork in a start up environment.
Responsibilities

- Drive carrier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of finished vehicles using modes of truck, rail, and ocean. Assing loads to contracted and spot market carriers. \n
- Input shipment data into TMS. \n
- Ensure data integrity is maintained – physicals and Transportation Management System (TMS) are in unison. Daily auditing of audit reports and workbenches. \n
- Coordinate capacity planning activities with carriers, shipping line and service centers. \n
- Communicate carrier KPI results regularly and implement corrective actions when needed. Maintain a monthly cadence with assigned carriers. \n
- Leverage data to identify exceptions or waste trends and work across teams to develop and measure corrective actions. Utilize root cause analysis to fix issues. \n
- Identify, develop, document, and roll out logistics processes as needed. \n
- Ensure safety procedures are established, communicated, and enforced. \n
- Liaise with Purchasing and IT to onboard new carriers. \n
- Manage Damage and Claims functions with assigned carriers. \n
- Act as back up of the Manager Outbound Logistics Europe \n
- Support for other roles within the Outbound Logistics team. \n
Qualifications
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field \n
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or related \n
- High proficiency in English is a must (written and verbal) – other language skills are a plus \n
- Ability to work autonomous in a team at multiple locations (Serbia, Germany, US) \n
- Hands-on experience working with a Transportation Management System (TMS) \n
- Process oriented - uses a methodical approach to problem solving \n
- Advanced user in MS Excel – ability to create pivot table and charts, use of short cuts, and VLOOKUP functionality \n
- Finished vehicle logistics experience a plus \n
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time \n
