Iternio, based in Lund, Sweden, is a vital part of Rivian, and known for ABetterRouteplanner (ABRP), the leading EV trip planning app. We specialize in providing EV planning services and APIs, serving both Rivian's in-car navigation and external clients, including other car manufacturers.

Rivian/Iternio’s Swedish team is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to develop mobile software applications and SDKs for Rivian/Iternio products.
\n
Responsibilities
- \n
- Developing architecture and code of the ABRP app – with more than 1 million active installs – on a large collection of platforms, including iOS (phone, iPad, CarPlay), Android (phone, Android Auto), web, Android Automotive (car infotainment platforms) \n
- Leading feature development and technical delivery on key initiatives \n
- Driving the evolution of our large React Native app using the continuously evolving ecosystem of modules and tools – and contributing to them \n
- Evolve our way of working with multi-platform code, handling a constantly changing set of platform specific bugs and requirements \n
- Collaborating with the product and UX design teams to define app features \n
- Ensuring quality and performance of applications while identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks, often together with or as part of the backend team \n
- Evolve our API endpoints in the backend to support new features in the app \n
- Debugging, isolating defects, and fixing bugs before final release \n
- Continuous improvement of your skills with workshops, conferences and talks \n
- Coaching and mentoring new team members \n
Qualifications
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience \n
- Proven React Native multi-platform development experience with 5+ years \n
- Proficient in the underlying main platform (iOS, Android) environments and languages such as Swift and Kotlin and the interaction with React Native \n
- A deep understanding of reactive frameworks and its impact on architecture and performance \n
- Excellent coding and proofreading skills \n
- Top-notch teamwork and communication skills. \n
- Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision \n
- Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket and others \n
- Familiarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging \n
- Experience with continuous integration \n
- Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to collaboratively work with and influence cross-functionally \n
