Role Summary
Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between 2024 through 2026.

This role is a part of our Co-Op Program. In order to be considered, you must be able to work full time for either Cohort A or Cohort B.
Cohort A: January - August 2024
Cohort B: May - December 2024
Responsibilities
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

- Understand and Implement Rivian PLC and HMI standards \n
- Help commission and start up manufacturing lines \n
- Help maintain integrator timelines based on schedules \n
- Understand Rivian standards for Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) \n
- Understand SCADA and Machine OEE standards for Rivian and verify dash boards \n
- Understand and practice day to day troubleshooting for machine controls \n
Qualifications
- \n
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university \n
- Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering \n
- \n
Experience or keen interest in Controls Engineering (PLC's, HMI, Robotics, Networking)
\nWillingness and ability to work in a plant environment
\nAbility to quickly understand software applications and use them for various styles of programming
\n
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law.

Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
