Role Summary
Rivian has embarked on a company-wide program to achieve the long-term cost structure that will help the company drive towards sustainable growth and impact. This role plays a critical part of this transformational change through the facilitation of Spend Control Tower (SCT) meetings, addressing stakeholder concerns, and communication and change management related to efficient indirect spend. Regular reporting and dashboard management will provide insights to Senior Leadership focused on progress, trends, and successes.
Responsibilities

- Lead weekly meetings with Senior Leadership and stakeholders to discuss indirect purchase requests \n
- Create and maintain weekly reports to provide visibility of key results, upcoming requests, program performance and trends; Maintain database to ensure reliability and accuracy of information \n
- Partner with stakeholders to address leadership concerns related to spend and purchase requests; manage escalations and ensure issues are addressed appropriately and timely \n
- Lead training and communication of the governance model for new stakeholders and leadership \n
- Reinforce program governance and adoption across new spend categories \n
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify areas to innovate, standardize and scale and provide recommendations accordingly \n
Qualifications
- \n
- 3+ years of experience in business, finance, procurement, or analytics \n
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent \n
- Strong Excel and analytical skills; Tableau and Jira experience preferred \n
- A creative thinker who can pressure test established processes utilizing first principles thinking \n
- Demonstrated skills in organizing, coordinating, and leading meetings with various stakeholder groups \n
- Ability to work effectively and build strong relationships at all levels of seniority \n
- Concise verbal and written communication \n
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for Irvine, CA based applicants: $85,000 - $98,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for Palo Alto, CA based applicants: $94,000 - $108,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
