Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced penetration tester to join our Enterprise Cybersecurity team. This role will play an integral part in performing penetration tests against Rivian’s internal infrastructure, networks, as well as web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will challenge traditional cybersecurity strategies, be responsible for penetration testing engagements against modern technology stacks, and coordinate testing engagements with Rivian’s application teams.
Responsibilities

- Perform penetration tests on web applications, APIs (REST and GraphQL) and critical infrastructure to identify security risks. \n
- Identify vulnerability trends across Rivian’s applications and collaborate with security engineering teams to identify root causes and remediations. \n
- Develop testing protocols and methodologies for emerging threats and vulnerabilities. \n
- Clearly communicate issues identified to developers and support remediation. \n
Qualifications
- \n
- Passion for Cybersecurity and a desire to stay current with industry best practices and tools. \n
- Knowledge of penetration testing tools and methodologies. \n
- Experience in REST API or GraphQL endpoints. \n
- Demonstrate experience working across multiple teams to build cross-functional relationships and working with numerous members with various levels of technical expertise. \n
- Proven experience in coordinating multiple penetration testing engagements in parallel. \n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. \n
