Role Summary
As a Senior ServiceNow ITSM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions. You will play a key role in enhancing the IT service delivery capabilities of the organization.
Responsibilities

- ServiceNow ITSM Solution Development: Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow ITSM solutions based on business requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical designs and solutions. \n
- ITIL Process Implementation: Implement ITIL processes, such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog Management, within the ServiceNow platform. Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and industry standards. \n
- Customization and Scripting: Develop custom applications, workflows, and scripts using ServiceNow development tools, including JavaScript, Glide API, flow designer, and ServiceNow Studio. Leverage coding skills to extend the functionality of ServiceNow ITSM. \n
- Automation and Orchestration: Automate IT processes and tasks using ServiceNow Orchestration and Integration Hub. Develop integrations with external systems and tools to enable seamless data exchange and process automation. \n
- Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD: Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to automate the deployment and configuration of ServiceNow ITSM components. Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment. \n
- ITSM Module Enhancements: Enhance existing ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog, to improve efficiency and user experience. Implement user interface customizations and process optimizations. \n
- Data Management and Reporting: Design and develop ServiceNow data models, tables, and reports to support ITSM processes and decision-making. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data governance policies. \n
- Integration and Interfacing: Integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems, tools, and platforms to enable data exchange and process automation. Develop and configure integration solutions using REST APIs, web services, and middleware. \n
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for ServiceNow ITSM solutions, including issue analysis, root cause identification, and resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues. \n
- Agile Development and Project Delivery: Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver ITSM projects and enhancements. Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery. \n
Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. \n
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on ITSM implementations. \n
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles, processes, and best practices. \n
- Excellent coding skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant languages. \n
- Experience in developing and configuring ServiceNow ITSM modules, workflows, and custom applications. \n
- Proficiency in ServiceNow development tools, including ServiceNow Studio, Glide API, and Scripting. \n
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and CI/CD pipelines. \n
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Orchestration and Integration Hub. \n
- Solid understanding of ITSM data models, reporting, and data governance. \n
- Familiarity with integration techniques, REST APIs, web services, and middleware. \n
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks and provide effective solutions. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. \n
- Self-motivated and driven to stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, best practices, and industry trends. \n
