Role Summary
As a Business Operations Analyst, you will be supporting the Infrastructure team across various business operations functions. This will include working with various staff members and leadership within the IT Infrastructure team, as well as with stakeholders and partners across Rivian in Finance, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and other teams. You will play a key role in supporting budget management and procurement activities, assisting with project management and governance, and building reports for leadership. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically.
Responsibilities
-You possess 1-2+ years of experience working in a business operations or administrative support role
\n-You have experience working with Purchase Requests, budget management, or project coordination
\n-You are proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
\n-You possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
\n-You have follow-through skills necessary to compile and relay information among various parties
\n-You are detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and self-motivated
\n-You are comfortable speaking to leadership, eternal parties,
\n-You are comfortable in a fast-paced and often-changing environment, with the ability to prioritize
\n-You are a critical thinker, with an inclination for problem solving and learning new skills
\n-Preferred: experience working with Coupa, Jira, Confluence, and/or Smartsheet
\n-Optional: experience managing a knowledgebase, wiki, or centralized documentation repository
Qualifications
-Coordinate with Infrastructure staff and Purchasing team ensure purchase requests are submitted accurately
\n-Manage purchase requests through their lifecycle and help to reconcile invoices against purchase orders
\n-Support Infrastructure leaders and project managers on tracking purchase orders against their budget forecasts
\n-Assist with PMO governance, including working with Project Managers to ensure project data and documentation is centrally stored and up to date
\n-Liaise with Infrastructure leadership, ET leadership, and People team to track headcount, including backfills and contractor conversions
\n-Support Infrastructure leaders with compiling and building reports and presentation decks as needed
\n-Review and maintain departmental documentation to ensure it reflects current processes and procedures
