Role Summary
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the organization's Active Directory Environment, ensuring adherence to security standards, optimizing system performance, and implementing automated processes. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, fostering positive stakeholder relationships, and facilitating comprehensive knowledge sharing within the End User Computing Team. This position is located in our Belgrade, Serbia office and reports directly to Manager of End User Computing and Messaging.
Responsibilities

- Act as expert-level technical resource for Active Directory Environment including planning, architecture and operational processes \n
- Develop high-level solutions and policies to govern the use of Active Directory at an enterprise-level \n
- Work with cybersecurity team to ensure alignment with security requirements (SOX, CIS), developing a plan and implementing solutions as needed \n
- Overall responsibility of Domain Controllers including maintenance, patching, ensuring they are stable and performing properly \n
- Management of Group Policy, including high level strategy, governance and implementation as needed \n
- Work to resolve issues in a timely manner \n
- Root Cause Analysis of any critical issues or outages within your scope, along with solutions and recommendations to prevent future issues \n
- Work directly with the Office 365 Team to maintain operations of AzureAD connections and processes \n
- Monitor Active Directory performance, configure proactive alerting, and take action on any necessary tasks or findings \n
- Utilize event log centralization tools such as Splunk to track and audit events throughout Active Directory \n
- Implement and execute maintenance activities (stale object cleanup, orphaned GPOs, etc.) \n
- Create automated processes using PowerShell or third-party utilities \n
- Create processes and procedures for AD-related operational activities \n
- Lead testing practices to ensure changes don’t negatively impact key business applications or user experience. \n
- Develop and maintain Active Directory policies standards, and procedures \n
- Develop positive relationships with the business and other functions involved in downstream technical processes \n
- Collaborate with members of the information security, network, and cloud teams to ensure images and support model meet user requirements and align with the overall IT technology portfolio, processes, and procedures \n
- Document standards and provide on-going training other members of the End User Computing Team, sharing tasks with others when possible \n
Qualifications
- \n
- At least 5-7 years (or relative) in a Active Directory Systems Administration, Engineering, or Architecture role \n
- Bachelor’s is preferred for this position \n
- Experience with: Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, Networking \n
- Familiarity with Ansible AWX and Terraform \n
- Experience in monitoring Active Directory and Domain Controller operations and providing metrics \n
- 3 to 5 years of scripting experience such as Python, Powershell, or other automation tools \n
- Experience with implementation of Active Directory Security Baselines a plus \n
- Tech Savvy – Ability and passion for learning new technology and tools \n
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization – Business Stakeholders, Senior Managers and C-Level Execs \n
- Prioritization Skills – The ability to analyze support requests, and prioritize them based on impact \n
- A Teacher – Able to teach end users about IT technologies or solutions to their issues in an easy to understand way \n
- Self-Starter – The ability to actively look for effective tasks and proactive solutions \n
