Role Summary
Rivian is seeking a proven retail program manager who desires the challenge and pace of scaling a new business. You will support the end-to-end management of Rivian’s retail programs, ensuring the process architecture and workflow structure enables efficiency while being highly collaborative.

You will develop the processes that enable key functional pillars and projects to be seamlessly integrated and working towards shared objectives and key results. This role will be responsible for developing and managing the initiatives, programs and processes that enable results, performance, and efficiency across the retail team, cross-functional work-streams, and the business. You will work directly with our Field Leadership team to finalize and deploy initiatives, programs, and processes – ensuring all training, documentation, and processes are in place.

Responsibilities

- \nDevelop and own workback plans, regularly documenting and cascading updates on all Spaces projects and initiatives, both internally and with all stakeholder teams \n \n
- \nCollect, organize and analyze data to create impactful reports that highlight our retail Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), using data to inform initiatives and strategies \n \n
- \nCollaborate with the Sales team to lead the develop, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of Rivian’s retail sales initiatives and best practices \n \n
- \nBuild and enhance the processes that enable retail associates to seamlessly move a customer through the ownership funnel, managing the workflow between the Retail, Customer Engagement, and Outbound Sales Teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from first touchpoint through delivery \n \n
- \nDevelop, implement, and maintain the initiatives, programs, and processes that enable results, performance, and efficiency across the retail team, cross-functional work-streams, and the business \n \n
- \nBuild the process architecture to support retail growth through efficiency and streamlined workflows \n \n
- \nStreamline communication and workflows across Retail Teams and additional stakeholders, serving as a key point of integration for project management \n \n
- \nEnsure timely deployment of all operations and business initiatives to the Spaces Field Team with the appropriate documentation and resources \n \n
- \nEnroll Learning & Development in building requisite training modules, providing a roadmap to outstanding customer service and sales enablement \n \n
- \nEnsure Marketing is prepared to support outbound comms and messaging, in alignment with in-store content \n \n
- \nOwn weekly status meetings and updates and manage project tracking for all retail projects \n \n
Qualifications
- \n
- \nBachelor’s Degree and 5+ years in retail operations, retail sales & field leadership, and/or program management, project management, or similar fields, preferably in a direct-to-consumer business model. \n \n
- \nProgram/Project Management Certification preferred. \n \n
- \nProven and successful track record in program/project management and the ability to drive process enhancements in highly dynamic cross-functional work-streams \n \n
- \nAn obsessive approach to elevating the customer experience and commitment to taking every opportunity to over-deliver when it comes to delighting and interacting with our community \n \n
- \nPossess an entrepreneurial mindset and apply a scrappy and resourceful approach to everything you do. Solve problems and overcome challenges with creativity and ingenuity \n \n
- \nDeep curiosity for next-generation retail formats and consumer experiences \n \n
- \nAbility to analyze data and report out findings that are actionable by both business and technical teams \n \n
- \nAbility to build and maintain relationships, solicit cooperation, and achieve results through collaboration while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Outstanding verbal and written communication \n \n
- \nAbility and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time \n \n
Physical Requirements

- \nWillingness to work in various working conditions, including being in a full-service retail center or at a retail activation in unpredictable weather conditions \n \n
- \nPhysical exertion may be required to perform occupational tasks (sitting up to 8 or more hours at a time, standing for up to 8 or more hours a day, walking, bending, kneeling, laying, twisting, carrying, reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs). \n \n
- \nFrequent use of hands for purposes of grasping and using tools correctly, entering data, writing communications, or calling customers or internal partners \n \n
- \nStrong understanding of written and spoken English \n \n
- \nAbility to see, read, and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or schematics \n \n
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for Southern California Based Applicants: $121,000-139,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
