Role Summary
The Lead Learning Experience Designer role is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving our learning and training ecosystem, programs and content supporting the Commercial organization. This position acts as a Rivian brand ambassador, working across Commercial and Learning & Development teams to analyze the health of the business and identify training needs. This position will play a key role in shaping training and enablement strategies to drive employee performance, operational excellence and engagement.

The Lead Learning Experience Designer will be instrumental in designing and developing content on topics including but not limited to: new hire onboarding, sales and customer service skills, product knowledge, day to day operations, tools and systems, leadership and coaching, certification and validation, and ongoing updates and communications. This role is ideally suited for someone who has broad business acumen and start-up experience within Retail Sales, Customer Service, Sales Operations, Automotive, Electric Vehicles, and is comfortable influencing and advising stakeholders.
Responsibilities

- Create various learning materials including audio, video, eLearning, simulations, role plays, games, and more. \n
- Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine the criteria for assessing learners’ performance. \n
- Conduct instructional research and analysis with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs. \n
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business strategy and its implications on learning needs. \n
- Continually evaluate the effectiveness of instructional content and adjust based on results. \n
Qualifications
- \n
- Expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and compositing \n
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an ability to gather complex requirements and translate those into highly accessible content \n
- Strong organizational and project management skills. \n
- Experience creating end-user instructional materials, or equivalent experience in multiple formats, with key a focus on agile video production. \n
- Experience working with software engineers, UX and graphic designers, and project managers. \n
- Experience in automotive, sales, customer experience, or technology. \n
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $135,000 - $155,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for Colorado Based Applicants: $128,000 - $148,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
\n\n
Salary Range for New York Based Applicants: $147,000 - $169,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
\n\n
Salary Range for Washington Based Applicants: $135,000 - $155,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
\n\n
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
