Role Summary
The Sr. Lead, Brand and Marketing Strategist, in collaboration with cross-functional business partners, will develop targeted marketing strategies to support the growth of the Rivian brand and its product. You will create and define multi-channel communications plans combining owned, earned, and paid media that deliver against annual marketing objectives. You will bring big ideas to life across our ecosystem, through clear, compelling and connected customer journey’s across multiple touchpoints while ensuring the work is on-brand and strategically-focused.
Responsibilities

- Cultivate and leverage consumer, competitive, and market insights through data and information analysis to create brand, product, and audience strategies across our businesses. \n
- Help build the strategic marketing discipline at Rivian, including the documents, systems, and foundational inputs (brand platform, brand architecture, purpose and promise, values, verbal identity), that empower teams to build and grow our business. \n
- Educate cross-functional business units on the implications of long-term brand strategies and how their priorities layer into Rivian’s annual narrative roadmap. \n
- Work with cross-functional business owners to ensure we are feeding and incorporating the needs of the business into the campaigns being develop. \n
- Craft and manage multi-channel marketing strategy and develop campaigns that activate various marketing channels in alignment with target audience, awareness, sales and conversion goals. \n
- Brief in and collaborate closely with in-house Creative team and external agencies to coordinate development of creative concepts and creative deliverables to ensure they align with campaign strategy. \n
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred. \n
- 8+ years of experience of experience in marketing communications, brand marketing, campaign development and execution. \n
- Incredible writing capabilities and able to articulate complex inputs and insights into strong creative propositions in briefs. \n
- Thinks critically - questions, challenges, looks for constructive, and new ways of thinking \n
- Passionate about weaving threads together to create captivating brand strategies and campaigns. \n
- Excellent presentation skills. \n
- Experience in Auto Industry preferred. \n
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $168,000-193,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
