Role Summary
Rivian is growing at a rapid pace and we are looking for an experienced Talent Management Senior Manager who is passionate about designing, building, and implementing strategic talent management programs and initiatives to elevate our employee experience. This role is best suited for those who like to think big, innovate, and apply cutting edge talent management trends in the creation of new programs and initiatives to improve performance, engagement, and retention. As a member of the Belonging, Learning, & Talent team at Rivian, the Talent Management Senior Manager will work collaboratively with other areas of the People Team and the business to think of the “art of the possible” for our talent strategy and programs, and provides global strategic direction, thought leadership, and drives the end-to-end execution of talent processes and programs across the employee lifecycle. This role will be located in Normal, IL and will primarily support Talent Programs and employee engagement activities for our Manufacturing workforce, but will also be a critical strategic partner to the overall Rivian talent strategy and program design and execution.
Responsibilities

- Develop, execute, and drive continuous improvement of talent management programs that support the organization's goals and objectives, such as performance management, talent reviews, and talent assessments. \n
- Lead the development and evolution of talent programs for our Manufacturing workforce ranging from strategic definition through ongoing execution and reporting of program success and outcomes. \n
- Apply current industry trends and best practices in talent management to Rivian to maintain a differentiated employee experience. \n
- Lead ongoing employee engagement activities, feedback sessions, and focus groups to generate insights and inform actions that will continuously improve the employee experience. \n
- Analyze and report on insights from multiple data sources and employee feedback channels to understand employee sentiment and inform prioritization of talent and engagement activities. \n
- Program manage and/or drive accountability for employee experience and engagement priorities to maximize the impact and action taken from our employee listening and engagement activities. \n
- Define talent program success metrics, evaluate and document results, and ensure consistent application across the organization. \n
- Effectively partner with and influence cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Business Partners, Organizational Leaders, Communications) to drive talent and engagement programs and organizational change. \n
- Create, utilize, and embed organizational development approaches and tools to drive engagement efforts, retention strategies, team development, culture enhancement efforts, and other talent initiatives. \n
- Utilize a data-driven approach through the collection of data and insights to drive engagement efforts, retention strategies, and improve the employee experience. \n
- Leverage change management expertise to implement and refine projects and programs that impact talent programs and overall employee experience. \n
Qualifications
- \n
- \nA minimum of 8 years of experience leading and implementing enterprise-wide organizational development/ talent development programs or key responsibilities related to the qualifications for this role.\n \n
- Experience operating talent and/or employee engagement programs for exempt and non-exempt workforces, ideally with a focus on Manufacturing \n
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment and demonstrated ability to excel in a collaborative and team environment. \n
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, interact, influence, and communicate at all levels with excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. \n
- Strong project management and delivery focus. \n
- Experience in a progressive, fast pace and hyper-growth organizations \n
- Experience in researching, developing, and maintaining relationships with talent and technology vendors to deliver programs. \n
- Outstanding analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills; ability to determine root causes and provide solutions. \n
- Expert-level PowerPoint and Excel skills, experience with Qualtrics is also preferred \n
- Ability to work on-site in our Normal, IL Manufacturing Facility \n
