Role Summary
In this position, you will help Rivian build out global treasury operations, bank relationships, liquidity risk management, and working capital management, providing functional knowledge of global treasury processes and best practices for multi-national operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute domestic and international daily cash management and banking duties, including cash movements, cash positioning, cash forecasting, and payment issue resolution.
- Provide global bank administration including account structure strategy, opening bank accounts, implementing Treasury services, supporting bank portal administration, KYC, signatory updates, and FBAR Reporting.
- Liaise with banking partners to make decisions on products and services to support best in class Treasury operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members and Rivian’s external partners on special projects and system implementations.
- Proactively look for opportunities to optimize Treasury processes and controls, improve policies, reporting tools and data quality.
- Document, maintain, and ensure compliance with Treasury’s internal control guidelines and policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus
- 2 years of experience in Global Treasury Operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Treasury Management Workstations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, advanced business acumen mindset
- Highly organized, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously having time-sensitive deadlines
- Proven ability to develop effective business partner relationships
- General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles and theory
